Pete Townshend Complete Bio & Career

Having faltered quickly with the guitar, Pete's first genuine instrument was the banjo which he played in a schoolboy trad jazz equip called The Confederates. The gathering included John Entwistle on trumpet however after John took up the low register guitar the two companions joined another schoolboy band, The Scorpions, with Pete on guitar.
