Phillipa Soo Complete Bio & Career

Phillipa Soo is an American actress and singer. She was born to Chinese-American father and European-American mother. She attended Libertyville High School and then graduated from The Julliard School in 2012. There she did her acting program and then persuaded her career in acting.
 
After completion of her graduation, she was casted as Natasha Rostovain Dave Malloy’s Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. After the Great Comet, she was asked to take part in 2014 reading of the musical Hamilton where she was reading for lead Eliza. She remained in the show. Soo also appeared in the pre- Broadway engagement of Amelie at Los Angeles in 2016-17. She also appeared in some television shows. In 2013, she was casted in NBC show Smash. She played the role of Lexi. After that in 2014, she was casted in the small supporting role in Dangerous Liaisons as Nia.
 
Soo also acted in short movie called Keep the Change in 2013. She had a good career in theatres. She worked in Natasha, Pierre, The Great Comet of 1982 in 2013, Hamilton in 2015 and Amelie in 2016-17. In filmography, she worked in Keep the Change and Smash in 2013, Dangerous Liaisons in 2014, and gave voice in Moana in 2016.
