Pooja Chopra is a budding film actress in Indian cinema, model, and the winner of the Femina Miss India 2009. She was born on 03 May 1986 Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, India. She went to St Thomas Academy, Goregaon , Mumbai. Pooja was among the finalists at Miss World 2009. She was the winner of the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ award at Johannesburg state of South Africa at the Miss World 2009 event. She received that award for her dedication towards the NGO called "Nanhi Kali" in India. Pooja was ranked 28 in the list of Times 50 Most Beautiful Women in India. 
 
For reaching to top ten Finalists she bagged 10 other titles that include Miss Catwalk, Miss Perfect 10, Talwarkars Best Body, Nakshatra Miss Sparkling Beauty and Miss Beautiful Smile among others. Pooja has endorsed top brands like Tata Docomo, Richfeel, Bajaj Allainz, Roots Comb, Body and Soul, Juvederm Voluma and Evolve Med Spa among others. After many modeling assignments, she went on to pursue a career as an actress. 
 
She began her career by acting in the Tamil movie titled Ponnar Shankar opposite to Prashanth Thiagarajan in year 2011.She appeared as a cameo artist in movies such as Heroine and Fashion. Pooja played her maiden lead role in Vipul Shah’s action film called Commando. She was cast opposite Vidyut Jammwal in this film. Later she appeared in a few movies like ‘Yeh Toh Two Much Ho Gaya’ is a 2016 and Neeraj Pandey's short film "Ouch," a dramatic love story. She has also appeared in a Documentary named ‘The World Before Her’ as herself in the year 2012. Meena Iyer, personnel from The Times of India refered Pooja Chopra as a super-confident in her film first appearance of movie and is a great addition to Bollywood.
