Raghav Sachar Complete Bio & Career

Raghav Sachar’s first stint with the music instrument started when he was just four years old. He was just 7 years old when he acquired distinction in 5&6 grades from the prestigious Trinity College, London. By the time, he was 9, he started playing the drums and was awarded the Best Drummer Award at the in the All-India Junior segment.
 
He represented India at a cultural program held in Russia when he was just 15 years old. He became a master of playing Guitar & Keyboard during his school days and was soon included in a rock band named “Canzona”. After joining this group, he toured with them all across India and performed at various prestigious institutes like the BITS Pilani and IIT’s among others. He then associated himself with the Delhi Music Theatre and worked with them for the musicals like “Oliver Twist”, “Grease” etc.
 
He to further his music career enrolled at the Monash University of Australia and studied Music & Composition there. He did his majors in Jazz music and while studying in Monash, he toured South-East Asia. After completion of his education in Australia, he returned back to India.
 
Soon after returning, he was signed by HMV records and released his debut album, "For the First Time" in 2003. The album was an instant hit and was well acclaimed by the critics as well. He in his musical career has toured with various artists and performed all across the globe. He has collaborated with veteran artists like Kailash Kher, Kunal Ganjawala, Salim Suleman, Shreya Ghoshal, and Shankar Mahadevan among many others.
 
In addition to singing in his private album, he has also sung various Bollywood movies songs. Some of his noted songs include "Kabul Fiza" from Kabul Express and "Frankly Tu Sona Nachdi" from Guests in London among many others. He has also served as the Music Director of Bollywood films Sonali Cable and Alone.
 
He formed his own record label titled “Raghav Sachar Music” in 2009.
