Raghu Dixit Complete Bio & Career
Dixit's debut self-titled music album had launched by the Bollywood famous duo pair of music directors Vishal and Shekhar under their new record label (Vishal & Shekhar Music ) along with the collaboration with the " Counter Culture Records" for this following release. This album was released on the world-music label "Wreasse Records and also "sony/Atv" on Sep 2010. On the iTunes World-Music Charts in the United Kingdom, this album reached on the no -1 spot.
He also composed as well as sang the title music of the MTV popular reality show "Splitsvilla." For the finale of the season one The Dewarists", he had collaboration along with the songwriter "Rewben Mashangva" for the song "Masti Ki Basti." He released his sec studio album "Jag Changa" on 23 Nov 2013. This musical album consists of 8 tracks of different languages such as Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi song tracks. During the time of an Interview along with "Vishnupriya Bhandaram of The Hindu," he mentioned that he has unique music and probably his main USP's are that it can be sung in a domesticated tongue. It may add the Mystery. He made debut as a music director from the Kannada film "Psycho" in 2008. He even composed the song and sang for the Bollywood film “Quick Gun Murugan." In 2013, he made debut in Malayalam film industry for North 24 Kaatham recording along with Bijibal.
His latest composed music for the Kannada films such as Kote and Just Math Mathalli.These soundtracks were much liked by the audiences and counted as the big hit ones. He has appeared in many plays in many countries such as India, Korea, the United States, Japan, Russia, UK, and Hong Kong. He even performed at many cultural as well as musical festivals such as Aarohi at "VNIT" (Nagpur), Mood Indigo, Shrewsbury-Folk-Festival and Jayciana at "SJCE." On BBC Tv he made an appearance in 2010 along with "Jools Holland," and these songs became the instant download hits.
In 2011, he visited at the Andrew Marr Show for his performance "Waiting for a Miracle." on BBC radio. On Apr 2012, he performed at the 60 years of accession to the throne by Queen Elizabeth II of England and Prince Philip (Diamond Jubilee).
