Rahat Indori Complete Bio & Career

Rahat Indori was born on 1 Jan 1950. He, by profession, was a Bollywood Lyricist and Urdu poet. He completed his study from Islamia Karimia College in Indore and Barkatullah University situated in Bhopal. He also taught the Urdu language to students. He was a great painter. He also served at Devi Ahilya University as the professor of Urdu literature. He was a gold medallist in this post-graduation. In order to recite poetry, he has traveled to different parts of the country and has also attended a poetic symposium. From the last 40 years, He has been performing in Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan. He also made his presence in the most popular show named, The Kapil Sharma Show. He came along with Kumar Vishwas and Shabinaji and later on with Ashok Chakradhar.
 
He is widely known for his couplets. His couplet, Bulaati hai Magar Jaane ka nai went viral on social media sites. It was used to the meme by people. Another popular couplet that gained wide recognition amongst the public was Kisi Ke Baap Ka Hindustan Thodi Hai. The book was also released in Delhi based on Rahat Indori’s Ghazals and Shayari titled, Mere Baad in 2016. It was made public at the oxford book store. Besides this, he has written many books like Maujood Naraz and Chand Pagal Hai. He worked on Lyricist in many Bollywood films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, Mission Kashmir, Yaraana, and Naraaz Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, news came that he has tested positive on 10 Aug 2020. He suffered from Cardiac arrest and died on 11 Aug 2020.
