Ruma Sharma a famous actress and model was born and raised in Delhi. The young model was raised by her single mother and completed her schooling in Lovely Public School, Delhi. She did her BA programming from Delhi University. Apart from these she is also a pass out student from National School of Drama Teenager Group.
Ruma’s did her first show was at the age of 6 as a lead in Shree Ram Centre Auditorium of Delhi. She completed her studies in Delhi and later moved to Mumbai to pursue her passion which was modelling and acting. Apart from acting Rumi loves dancing, travelling and play some outdoor games.
Ruma has done most of her roles in hindi, but also done roles in Kannada and few other language. She has acted in Television serials, theatre plays, Soap Opera actress and also done few modelling and known fashion influencer. Ruma has also done a Punjabi music video and one to two short films. Some of the serials in which Ruma played a role are “Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Bribal (2016), Kunwara Hai Par Hamara Hai (2018), Shapath etc.,
Few of the roles which got her fame and lot of attention among the audiences are character which she played in an MTV show ‘Kaise yeh yaariyan’ and the role was named as “Ridhima”. The role played in a bollywood movie ‘Hogaya Dimag ka dahi’, (2015) also made her famous in the industry.
Some of the television advertisements which she did were brands like Idea ad, Triple Treat Ice Cream and India Diary.
Ruma was only 13 years old when she made her in presence in the industry and acted as a child artist in couple of TV shows which came in DD national and Star Gold. She started getting multiple offers from various TV channels before completing her education.
