Sandra Amy trained in classical dance at a very young age, she won the Miss Trivandrum title once. She has been a prominent figure in the south of India. Having completed her education from H.H. The Maharaja’s College for Women in Trivandrum, she has done justice to her degree in Psychology.
 
She began her career at the age of 3 with the Malayalam movie Omana Thingal Kidavo in the year 1996. The breakthrough for her career came in 2003 when she took the supporting role of “Sheela” in the movie Kasthooriman. She was a lovely “Madurakani” (supporting role) to Meera Jasmine and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the Malayalam movie Swapnakoodu, directed by the veteran director Kamal. Both the movies were super hits and gave the Sooryakireedam actress her own identity. Video Jockey (Karan TV, Tamil Hits) turned actress, Sandra was popular with the Tamil audience as “Janani” in the television serial Rojakootam for Vijay TV. Soon director Samudhrakani made her famous by featuring her in Poraali as “Santhi”.
 
She has won many hearts with her roles in Snehapoorvam Anna, Priyam, Sharja to Sharja, War and love, Swapnakoodu, Soorya Kireedam, 6 Melugu Wathikal, Sutrula, Dharani, Mannar Vagera and much more. She rocked the television with her appearances in shows like Thangam, Malli, Krishna Laddu Thinna Asaya, Thalayani Pookal, Dance Jodi Dance, Moonu Penungal and Deal or No deal. She’s a beloved part of Telugu, Tamil as well as Malayalam cinemas and TV shows.
