Shefali Alvares was born to a musician father and hence decided to become a musician at a very young age. She made her singing debut after musician Sandeep Chowta gave her a chance to sing in his Telugu film Saleem in the film 2010. The song titled O mama miya marks her singing debut. The following year, she made her Bollywood song debut through the song Yeh Dil Hai Nakhrewala from the film Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. Since then, she has sung some of the most famous bollywood songs such as Subha Hone Na De, Tera Naam Japti Phiran, Party On My Mind, and Hey Mr. DJ among various others. She has also performed on various stage shows and is one of the most famous singers around. Off late though, she has hardly got any offers and has given stage performances only.
