Sobhita Dhulipala Complete Bio & Career
Sophia Dhulipala wanted to make her career in films since her childhood and with that intention, she relocated to Mumbai to pursue her dreams until she was just studying. In the meantime, she completed her graduation from HR College of Commerce and economics. Even she is a trained dancer of Indian classical dance forms such as Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam.
She was Adjudged the winner of the beauty contest of "2013-Femina Miss India South", a zonal beauty pageant of "Femina Miss India", she was the one who attained the auto-entry into the top-23 contestants in the 50th year history of the Femina Miss India. In the Femina Miss India contest, she won various titles such as Miss Adventurous, Miss digital diva, Miss Fashion icon, and Miss Stylish hair. In 2014, she was engaged for the annual photoshoot of the Kingfisher Calendar.
This talented and beautiful model participated in various modeling assignments, but later on, she decided to begin her journey in the film industry. Finally, her first break in Bollywood was in the Anurag Kashyap's directed film Raman Raghav 2.0 in the year 2016. In the same year, she was fortunate to receive the offer of signing three films deals with the Anurag productions named Phantom Films in Jul 2016.
Her debuted film was premiered at the 2016 Cannes film festival, where she won the nominations for the best-supporting actress by the film jury. In Aug 2016, she signed the films such as Akshat Verma directed Kaalakaandi and Raja Menon directed the film Chef both films were opposite Saif Ali Khan. For the years' terms (2014-16), her name was announced as the Brand Ambassador of the South-Indian big textile brand named Kalanjali.
In 2019, she made her Malayalam film debut with Geetu Mohandas's movie Moothon, which also was released in Hindi. Next, she was seen in The Body opposite Emraan Hashmi. In 2020, she was seen in Bollywood horror film Ghost Stories. Her 2nd Malayalam movie was Kurup, released on 12th Nov 2021.
