The accomplished actor made his debut in 2001 but he hit a high with the much talked about movie Roja Kootam. Srikanth made a  mark in the film industry by giving back to back successful movies after making his debut in 2001.
 
The young actor was awarded as the Best Actor by the Tamil Nadu State Film Special Award for the actor’s role in the movie Parthiban Kanavu. His acting career also includes movies where he shared the screen with the famous Bollywood actress Illeana D’Cruz. One of his other great performances includes the successful movie Bose which was released in 2004. The actor did not stop here and made an entry into the Telugu and Malayalam Film Industries as well. The latest movie in the talented actor’s bag is Nambiar which is a scientifically based comedy movie that was released last year.
 
The well-acclaimed actor after hit movies in Tamil,  when asked about his journey from starting off as a Tamil Actor to a Telugu Actor, he mentioned that it was destiny that had played its part. The proficient actor showed a keen interest in performing those roles which posed a challenge mentioning that he searched for variety in his work.
