Sriti Jha is well-known for his works in the television industry. She enrolled at the Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi. It was during her time in college that she also joined the Dramatic society named Verbum. She gradually advanced to become the president of the Dramatic society. She participated in several plays and her performance in the play called ‘Ritual in Blood’ won her several accolades along with the Best Actor award. 
 
She began her acting career by working in television series Dhoom Machao Dhoom in 2006. She worked with the series till 2008. After which, she starred in several soap operas. The series which took her career to next level was Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava. Her portrayal of the victim of domestic violence earned her huge recognition and she became a household name. She followed it up with another significant role of illiterate Ganga in iconic television series titled Balika Vadhu. Her career graph was in no mood to come down and her next series Kumkum Bhagya of which she is still a part has certainly increased her fan base. Her performance and on-screen chemistry with co-actor Shabbir Ahluwalia is the talking part of Indian telly industry. In 2015, she won the best actress along with Best Onscreen Couple at the ITA for her performance in the series. As of now, she is among the highest paid actresses of small screen.
