“Tay-K”, or “Tay-K 47”, actual name is Taymor Travon McIntyre. He is a controversial American songwriter and rapper. He made his singing debut with the track titled ‘BIFF XANNEN’, in the year 2015. He released that song on his ‘SoundCloud’ account. He released a song titled ‘The Race’ while he was on the run from the police made him an overnight star as the song became a massive hit. 
 
The track peaked at No. 44 on the ‘US Billboard Hot 100’ chart. The song became quite popular among the youths and was then remixed by various other artists. The song had nearly 2 hundred million ‘YouTube’ views. Looking at the popularity of the song, he himself made a remix of the song and released that in 2017, via his mixtape titled ‘Santana World’. In 2018, ‘The Race’ was given a “platinum” certification. He is arguably one of the youngest successful rappers in the industry but has been associated with crimes often. He was charged with murder and was under house arrest in the year 2016. He though escaped from the arrest and ran away to Texas. He finally got arrested few months after that in New Jersey. While his previous case was on trial, he was charged for another murder. He was held on a bail of $500,000 in September 2017.
 
Two charges of Murder and 3 charges of aggravated robbery were proved against him and he may face life imprisonment. His lawyers came out on 22nd July 2019 and revealed that he will be sentenced for around 40 years in prison.
