Unmukt is a young Indian Cricketer batsman born in Delhi, India. He started playing cricket at a very small age. He is a Right-handed batsman His mother’s name is Rajeshwari Chand and his fathers is Bharat Chand Thakur both are Teachers in a school. He studied from Delhi public school Noida and modern public school. He completed his graduation from St.Stephens College, Delhi.
In 2010, at 17 he created a first-class debut in Delhi where he hit 435 runs. In 2012 the ICC Under-19 World Cup led India to victory. He played a major role in India's under-19 World Cup victories. He launched his book ‘Sky is the limit’ in 2013 that chronicles India’s journey during the under-19 World Cup.
He is an outrageous stroke player with an ability to play the ball on the rise. In 2013, for India, A series against West Indies A and New Zealand A becomes one of the selectors’ radar. He handled the leadership at the young age of 20. The young batsman has played for the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for continuos three seasons. He is now a part of the Rajasthan Royals.
