Wendell Rodricks Complete Bio & Career
Wendell Rodricks was born in Goa but raised in Mumbai. After completion of his studoes, he went to Oman and worked there for a while before finally deciding to become a fashion designer. He began by using his savings to study fashion in Los Angeles and Paris. In the early 2000s, he completed internships at the National Museum of Costume and Fashion in Lisbon (on the conservation of pre-21st century garments) and the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City. He started his career by designing for famous brands such as Garden Vareli, DeBeers and Lakmé Cosmetics. He started his own label in the year 1989 and Mehr Jesia was the model. He then never looked back and has not just designed clothes for Indian fashion week but was the first designer who was invited at various fashion weeks abroad.
