Zubayr Hamza Complete Bio & Career

Zubayr Hamza became the fourth youngest South African Batsmen to score a double hundred when he scored a double hundred in a first-class game at the age of 19 years in 2014. Hamza achieved this feat in a game against Namibia playing for the Western Province outfit. Since then his progress has been tracked and he has been elevated to play for Cape Cobras. Having Jacques Kallis as his idol has helped Zubayr mould his game on balance and patience. He has a neat stance and loves batting for hours with truck loads of concentration backing his ability. This is what separates him from the horde of other young players.
 
He has represented the South Africa Schools' team and skippered the Western Province under-19 team and narrowly missed out on representing the South African under-19 team. That didn't dented his confidence and rather he came more strong at the domestic circuit piling on runs and made a case for himself when Pakistan toured South Africa toured in 2019. He did play a single test in that series and couldn't make any impact. He then again got selected in the South Africa's squad when they toured India in October 2019. He scored a fine fifty in that test but that wasn't enough for his side to escape the defeat. He is still young and has the ability to be a consistent feature for South African cricket not just in tests but in white ball cricket as well.
