Asin took her initial education from class LKG to 10th standard from Naval Public School and jumped to St. Teresa's School for completed her higher secondary education at Kerala. After that, Asin took admission in St. Teresa's College at Kochi and done her degree of Bachelor of Arts with English Literature subject. During her studies, she has a keen interest in acting therefore she always participated in theater activities. 
 
During her tertiary education, she first time saw in BPL Mobile advertisement at the age of 15. In 2001, she choose acting professionally and debut her career with "Narendran Makan Jayakanthan" Malayalam film. After that, the actress took a long break from movies to complete her graduation. Then came back with Telugu film "Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi". In this movie, Asin played the character of a Tamil girl against Ravi Teja (actor). This film was a super hit and the actress got Telugu Filmfare Award for Best Actress. This was the beginning of her success, she achieved Santosam Best Actress Award in the same year for the film "Shivamani". In this movie, she is portrayed alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna. 
 
Furthermore, the actress didn't stop and gave superhit movies such as "Gharshana" (2004), "Lakshmi Narasimha" (2004), "Chakram" (2005), and so on. The beautiful actress also showed her magic of acting in the Hindi film industry and started her first film "Ghajini" in 2008 opposite Aamir Khan (renowned actor). The movie was super hit and got the title of a blockbuster. People loved Aamir and Asin's chemistry worldwide. That was the only first Hindi film that earned up to 1 billion in income. Apart from this, the actress did many other superhit movies in Hindi cinema like "Ready" with Salman Khan (actor), "Houseful 2", "All is Well" (2015), and so forth.
