Abhishek Chatterjee was born on 30-04-1964 in Baranagar, North 24 Parganas in the state of West Bengal, India. He was an Indian Film Actor, Television Actor, Soap Opera Actor & Television Personality who was famously known for his work in Bengali cinema.

Abhishek Chatterjee Complete Bio & Career

Abhishek Chatterjee hailed from a Bengali family in West Bengal, India. He completed his initial study at Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission High school and jumped to Seth Anandram Jaipuria College to fulfill his graduation under the University of Calcutta. He started acting from his college days and got an opportunity to work in a Bengali film "Pathbhola" in 1986 which is directed by Tarun Majumder.

It was an action drama movie where he played the character of Gupi along with Sandhya Roy and many other renowned celebrities. After releasing the film, his acting was liked by people and he got more chances to work in different genres of movies. In 1988, he was filmed in director Samit Bhanja''s film "Ora Charjon". Here, he performed the lead role alongside actor Debashree Chatterjee.

Moreover, Abhishek became the legend of Bengali cinema in no time. He got myriads of films such as "Tumi Koto Sundar" (1988), "Toofan" (1989), "Maryada" (1989), "Puroshuttam" (1992), "Dahan" (1997), "Madhur Milan" (2000), "Arjun Aamar Naam" (2003), "Chaowa Pawa" (2009), "Atmogopon" (2013), "Chayamurti" (2020), "Baazi" (2021) and so forth. Her last film was "Lover" which was released in 2021. 

Apart from this, Mr. Chatterjee not only worked in movies but also spread his magic of acting in television and web series like "Aanchol" (2014), "Chokher Tara Tui" (2014), he played the role of Yuvraaj here, "Mayurpankhi" (2018), "Khorkutu" (2020) and so on. Along with this, Mr. Abhishek was seen in several television advertisements, brand ambassador etcetera. for renowned companies and their brands.
