Abhishek Singh is a 16th Lok Sabha MP. He joined the Rajnandgaon seat of Chhattisgarh of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 election. He got his engineering degree from Raipur NIT. and later he did his post graduation from XLRI with a Master's degree ( MBA).
Even after completing his higher education, he joined politics and even actively campaigning for BJP party even in the constituencies of Kawardha as well as Rajnandgaon this was during the 2013 Chhattisgarh parliamentary polls. In the following elections, the BJP party announced his name as the party candidate for the Rajnandgaon general election even after the name of Madhusudan Yadav was declined from the electorate at that time.
