He came to Kolkata to try his luck in Bengali films and it was during this time that he caught the attention of film director Pijus Saha who roped him in his film Kellafate in the year 2010. This was just the beginning as since then he has never looked back and has appeared in nuerous famous Bengali films. Some of his famous films include Idiot, Khiladi, Romeo vs Julirt, and Ami Je Ke Tomar among others.
His recent releases include Villain, and Bhoy among others. He will be next seen in Baba Yadav's next film in which he is cast opposite Subhashree Ganguly. He is also a brilliant dancer and is known for his versatality as an actor. He is also quite actove on social media especially twitter.
