Avril Lavigne, a dark eyeliner Canadian singer, Songwriter started singing in church choirs at a young age. She knew herself as a singer until her 12 years, but she started learning guitar and writing lyrics which made her eventually a challenging singer. Lavigne first appeared on the stage in 1998 and won the prize.
 
She signed an agreement with the “Artista” records in 2000. “Let Go” was her debut album which was released in 2002. Her single hits "Sk8er Boi," Complicated", 2002 hit the record sales of 15 million copies around the world. Avril’s second album Under My Skin (2004) touched the top of Billboard, in the United States, The Best Damn Thing (2007), and her third album established her name among top singers. The album was recorded in multiple languages and over seven million copies were sold. Goodbye Lullaby (2011) and Avril Lavigne (2013) are the most popular albums in her career.
 
In 2003, Avril won the “Juno” award for “Let Go” and “complicated” under the category “Album of the year” & “Single of the year”. In 2005, again Avril was crowned with “Juno” for “Under my skin” under the category “Pop album of the year”.
