Ayesha Faridi pursued her graduation in journalism from Delhi University. She started her professional career by working as a reporter with the BBC World Service and a producer of MTV India. She shot to fame after joining as a research analyst and an anchor at CNBC TV18. She hosted the show ‘Market Sense’ alongside Udyan Mukherjee. She also hosted several other shows like Your Stocks, Power Breakfast, Bazaar, Bull’s Eye, Midcap Radar, India Market Wrap, and much more. Her flamboyant style, enticing smile and charming personality coupled with magnificent anchoring expertise increased her fan base and also the rating points of the channel.
 
In 2010, she left CNBC TV 18 and joined ET Now. In this channel, she anchors the front-runner morning shows and afternoon shows. The Market and First Trades, Riding The Bull, Markets @ Lunch, and The F&O Show are some of the show that she presents for the channel. She is arguably one of the best and most experienced stock market anchors of India.
