In the introductory phase of the political journey, G K Vasan, although not formally chairman of the party, was in any case energetically involved in the political activities in Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu. He supported the GK Moopanar in his political strategies and also participated in election campaigns in the constituency of the district of Mayiladuthurai and even the constituency of the state of Papanasam.
