Ganesh Singh Complete Bio & Career

Ganesh Singh is a prominent leader of BJP and is currently an MP from his hometown of Satna.  He got elected as an MP for three times in a row now.
 
He obtained his graduate, masters and law degree from the Avdesh Pratap University in Rewa. He began his political career after the completion of his studies. He took long strides in his political career after becoming one of the members of the Zila Parishad in Satna. He held that position for four years from 1995-1999. After which, he was elected as the President of Zila Panchayat in Satna and he held that post from 199902004. After looking at his popularity in Satna, BJP handed him a Lok Sabha ticket from Satna and he got elected with a thumping margin. He retained his seat in the 2009 elections as well and in 2014 general elections he made a hat-trick by getting elected for his third successive term.
 
Soon after becoming an MP and his party coming into power in the centre, he has been made a key member of various committees including Nursing Council of India, Standing Committee on Railways and Rules Committee among various others.
 
His hobbies include visiting historical places, playing with children, watching old Hindi films and reading biographies of Indian legends. He also loves volleyball and badminton and does yoga regularly.

He was born to Phoolmati Singh and Kamal Bhan Singh. He is married to Mona Singh and together the couple is blessed with two sons named Vikalp Singh and Sankalp Singh.
