Born in Uttar Pradesh in the district of Azamgarh on August 22, 1934, Iliyas Azmi is an Indian politician volunteering his constituency of Shahbad in UP.

Iliyas Azmi Complete Bio & Career

He won the Lok Sabha elections twice on the ticket of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) which is currently headed by the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Ms. Mayawati. Later in his political career, he joined Aam Aadmi Party(AAP)  but quit from the party in 2016. He is a leader of great thoughts and deeds. He mixed up his political thoughts with Arvind Kejriwal (Chief Minister of Delhi) and helped him in initiating and building up the Aam Aadmi Party for the sake of people but later on He resigned from the party giving Arvind Kejriwal negative credits that He is now responsible to the downfall of the AAP party and is now a dictator.  During his presence in AAP, He was volunteering from the Lakhimpur constituency but later on after the disputes he returned that ticket to the party.
 
He is well known as a founder member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) who helped the CM Mr. Arvind Kejriwal in laying down the brick of the party. It was his influence also that many big names from various domains were their in the list of members of AAP.
 
Being a hard core politician, He was a soft hearted man who was married to Badarunnisa and the couple is blessed with 4 sons and 4 daughters. Even at the age of 82 He is very active and thoughtful.
