Jay Bhanushali Complete Bio & Career
Jay Bhanushali was born in a Hindu Gujarati family in Ahmedabad. He did his schooling at B.P.M High School in Khar, Mumbai. He was seen very first time in the television series 'Kasautii Zindangii Kay' in 2005 as a supporting actor. Next, he appeared in the musical sitcom 'Dhoom Machaao Dhoom' as Varun Bhaskar.
He get his first big break in the Ekta Kapoor's soap opera titled 'Kayamath' in 2007 as Neev Shergill. In the same year, he participated as a contestant in a reality television show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2', in which he became the 2nd runner-up. In 2009, he got a chance to host dance competition reality television series called 'Dance India Dance (DID)', for his comic appearce and hosting skills he got much love and praise from the audience. He became the permanent host of Dance India Dance and hosted the show to date.
In 2011, he got married model/actress Mahhi Vij. He participated along with his wife Mahhi Vij in dance reality show 'Nach Baliye 5' and became the winner of the season. In 2014, he made his Bollywood debut in director Vishal Pandya's film 'Hate Story 2' opposite Surveen Chawla. The film went avarage on box-office but not in loss. Next, he was seen in Bollywood film 'Desi Kattey' in 2014 and 'Ek Paheli Leela' in 2015.
In 2019, he appeared in a horror thriller web series 'Parchhayee' as Joy. He also participated in Bigg Boss 15 as a contestant and evicted on 25-11-2021 on the 55th day. In 2023, he was seen in a romantic television series 'Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum' opposite Tina Datta. In Oct 2025, he and his wife Mahhi Vij made a official announcement of their separation.
