Mahhi Vij Complete Bio & Career
Mahhi Vij was born and grew up in New Delhi. She did her schooling at Lilawati Vidya Mandir School followed by Delhi University. She moved to Mumbai at the age of 17 with the dream of becoming an actress. First, she appeared as a model in DJ Aqeel's popular music video 'Tu, Tu Hai Wahi'. Next, she was seen in music video Roz Roz aap ki aankhon, and Nit Khair Manga.
She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film 'Aparichithan' in 2004 as Kalyani opposite Mammootty, Kavya Madhavan, and others. In the same year, she appeared in the Telugu film 'Tapana' as Meera opposite Prabhu Deva. In 2006, she got a chance to work in the Hindi television series 'Akela' as Meghna opposite Sudhanshu Pandey. In 2008, she was seen as a lead actress in the Kannada film 'Ganga Kaveri' as Ganga opposite Mallika Kapoor. In the same year, she appeared as a lead actress in the Hindi television series 'Kaisi Laagi Lagan' and 'Shubh Kadam'.
He got breakthrough success in 2009 as Nakusha Bahu in the Hindi television series 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' opposite Mishal Raheja. She attended a dance class show 'Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan' in 2010 and same year participated as a contestant in dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4'. She reached 4th place in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4. She married model/actor Jay Bhanushali in 2011. Together, they participated as a contestant in 'Nach Baliye 5' and became the winner of the season. After that, she appeared in Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Encounter, Comedy Nights with Kapil, Bigg Boss 9, and Comedy Nights Bachao.
In 2016, she participated in 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7' and reached 10th place. Next, she was seen in several tv series/shows such as Balika Vadhu, Laal Ishq, Kitchen Champion 5, Bigg Boss 13 & Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. In Oct 2025, she made a shocking announcement for her fans that she and Jay Bhanushali has divorced and has separated.
