Mrs. Kiran Maheshwari is amongst those politicians who are known for their gutsy nature. At present She is serving the as a Minister of PHED and Ground Water supply from Jaipur. She is used to basically contest from Bhartiya Janta Party. She had also served as a cabinet minister in Rajasthan Government. She is considered to be amongst the honest politicians, who are known to take the right decision at the right time.
 
Her name was given amongst the top 11 candidates who can contest for the national Vice-President’s post. She also serves as an MLA from Rajasmand Seat in Rajasthan. Her education happened in Mumbai where she completed her schooling from RA Poddar School in Mumbai and then pursued Graduation in the Commerce Stream. She did complete the graduation between the year 1980-1984. 
 
She secured alone Ranger's degree in trade in the year 1980-84. She has served, beforehand. She only lost one election in her career when the entire constituency voted for Sachin Pilot against her. Sachin was the member of Indian National Congress and contested from the same seat as Mrs. Maheshwari.
