Manan Vohra is arguably an exception talent. Manan has scored prolifically since his junior cricket playing days. He made his first-class debut at the age of 17 by playing for Punjab and has since then never looked back. He has established himself among the star-studded Punjab’s batting line-up and has earned the opening berth.
 
He scored heavily in the U-19 world cup and was immediately roped in by the IPL team Kings XI Punjab. He made an excellent debut in IPL by scoring 43 not out. He scored in few more innings and was retained by the franchise for the next season. He was among the two players that were retained by the franchise.
 
Manan was not retained just for his IPL heroics but because he scored prolifically in the 2013-14 domestic season which made the franchise think tank to consider him for retention. He has been scoring at will in the domestic cricket but yet to get his opportunity at the big stage. He is somebody who can thwack the cricket ball as well as can use those deft touches to scores runs at some good pace. Besides batting, he is a livewire on the field.
 
With the settled Indian batting line up it would be really difficult for this lad from Punjab to make his cut but with the way he is going, he will get his chance sooner than later.
