Mohammad Kaif was born on 01-12-1980 in Allahabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an Indian Cricketer Commentator, Cricket Coach & former Cricket Player who made his internation debut with playing U-19 World Cup in 2000 and took retirement on 13-07-2018.

Mohammad Kaif is a former Indian cricketer who was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He is mainly a right-hand batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He was born into a family of cricketers and belongs to the Islam religion. He did his B. A from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University His father, Mohammad Tarif, played for Uttar Pradesh cricket team and Railways cricket team. Even he also played for the Uttar Pradesh cricket team and Madhya Pradesh cricket team.

 

He played for the Indian national cricket team, I Red, Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Uttar Pradesh.  In the 2000, U-19 World Cup the man captained the Indian team to victory. In 2000,  he played in the national team his first Test match against South Africa at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. In 2002, he performed his  ODI debut was against England at Green Park.

 

He is famed as one of the most athletic all-rounders of all time. He had played 13 Tests and 125 ODIs throughout his career. He was one of the five Uttar Pradesh cricketers to be selected for the national team. In 2002, becomes a national hero, when he scored an unbeaten 75-ball 87 runs in the final against England. He together with Yuvraj Singh scored a whopping 121 runs. He also received the title of Man of the match. In the Indian ODI team, he served as the captain of the Challenger Trophy. In 2008, he played for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL and made his debut against Delhi Daredevils at Feroz Shah Kotla. He retired from IPL in 2012.
