Nitin Jayram Gadkari is an adorable politician from India. He is one of the seniormost leaders of BJP. He played a key role in BJP coming into power in the 2014 general elections. He is serving as the Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping in Modi's cabinet. He is highly educated and holds M.Com. & L.L.B. degrees which he obtained from the University of Nagpur. Besides that, he also has a Diploma degree in Business Management.
Before becoming a Minister, he served as a Public Works Department’s(PWD) minister in the state of Maharashtra. He was the man behind the construction of the state flyovers, line of roads, and highways across Maharashtra. He was the one behind the construction of the beautiful YashwantraoChavan Mumbai–Pune Expressway. 
For his work and the hard grounds that he made, he was made the party President of the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2010. He held that position till 2013. He was both preceded and succeeded by Rajnath Singh in this office.
He is also referred as the flyovers man of India because of his work in constructing flyovers, roads, and expressways during his term. He strongly believes in the idea of socio-economic development and at the same time promote environment protection as well. He is also a social worker. His prominent works include his work towards the upliftment of poor farmers in India and also offering them better opportunities to live. 
Though renowned for his work, he is accused of various scandals against him. Some of which includes several cases of corruption and bribery allegations against him. One which did rounds was the unexplained death of a 7-year-old girl. 
The speed of road construction grew immensely during his term and also the health of highways was bettered. He has inaugurated numerous road projects and building of highways during his term. He is also seen as future PM candidate of BJP.
