Nitish Rana Complete Bio & Career

A hostile and belligerent left-handed batsman and also bowls part-time off-spin bowling. Nitish Rana rose to prominence after an amazing 2015-16 domestic season in which he represented Delhi. He scored 299 runs and slammed 21 sixes which were the most by any batsman playing in the 2015-16 Domestic T-20 tournament i.e. Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His innings of 97 from 40 balls against Andhra caught everyone’s eyes.
 
Rana has made his T20 and List A debuts for the Delhi team in the 2012-13 season but had to wait for his maiden chance till the 2015-16 season. He had an absolutely fantastic debut first-class season. On his debut, he ran out star player Wasim Jaffer on a duck and also scored a well-compiled half-century against Vidarbha. He finished his debut first-class season as highest run-getter for Delhi. He scored 557 runs at an impressive average of 50.63. He slammed a century along with three fifties. His big hitting abilities won him an IPL contract worth 10 lakhs with the IPL team Mumbai Indians in 2105. Though he didn’t get a game, he was still retained by the franchise and in 2017 when he finally got the opportunity, he grabbed that opportunity with both hands. He scored a 29 ball 50 when his side was in trouble and won them their first match of IPL 10. His big-hitting prowess was lauded by all the cricket experts and if continues the coming seasons the way he has started, he will soon dawn Indian colors for sure.
