Sachin Pilot was born on 7th September 1977 at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh in India. He is an Indian Politician and is one of the most influential members of Indian National Congress and 5th Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Sachin Pilot is the son of the late Sh Rajesh Pilot, was a Congress leader. He did his primary education from Air Force Bal Bharati School, New Delhi. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi. Then after he got his MBA degree from Whorton school under the University of Pennsylvania USA. After graduation, he started working with the British Broadcasting Corporation Delhi Bureau and then worked with the American multinational corporation General Motors for two years.

In 2004, he was named to the 14th Lok Sabha and even member of Standing Committee of the Central Government's Home Department.  in the year 2006, he appointed in the Civil Aviation Ministry as the member of the Advisory Committee. In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, he defeated Kiran Maheshwari of BJP by the huge votes difference of 76 thousand votes to win the Ajmer seat and became the state Minister of  Information and Communication. In 2012, he even became the state Minister of  Corporate Affairs and till 2014 he remained on that post.

Sachin Pilot is the first Indian Union Minister who has served in the regional army, he joined the regional army on Sep 6, 2012. In addition, on 21 Jan 2014, he also took over the post of new state president of the Rajasthan Congress. Being the state president, the role of Sachin Pilot in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election became even more significant. On the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018, he played the very important role to record the victory of the Congress party back into power after many years.
