Sanjay Dina Patil was born on 16th January 1969 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is an Indian Politician who represents Indian National Congress. He was a former MP from the Mumbai-North-East constituency of Maharashtra.

Sanjay Dina Patil Complete Bio & Career

He is the son of Former Minister Dina Patil. He was influenced by his father and joined politics. He first came to limelight by electing as MLA in 2004 state elections. Looking at his popularity and his influence he was handed the Lok Sabha ticket from North East constituency in Mumbai during 2009 elections. He was elected as MP and served for five years after being defeated by Kirit Somaiya of BJP in 2014 general elections.
 
Apart from being a politician he is also a social worker and has come forward to help the poor. During Mumbai riots, he worked with riot-affected families and provided them relief. He was also one of the foremost leaders to step forward during the 2005 deluge in Mumbai. He provided shelter and basic amenities to the families affected by the flood.
 
He is married to Pallavi Patil and the couple is blessed with two daughters.
