Shankar Chaudhary Complete Bio & Career
Shankar Chaudhary is a well known Indian politician of Gujarat state. He finished his primary education and then moved to Radhanpur for completing his secondary and higher secondary education. He attended National Institute of Management for studying cooperative management. He fought against Chief Minister of that time ‘Shankarsinh Vaghela’ in the Legislative Assembly from Radhanpur in 1997.He was just 27 years old at that time. He was selected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly in 1998 election. He was elected from Radhanpur Constituency.
He became State Minister in 2014 and handles the Health and Family Welfare, Urban Housing and Road and Transport Departments for the Gujarat State Government. He is the Chairman of the Banaskantha District Central Co-operative Bank. He won the Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Federation’s chairmanship without any opposition. After joining as a Chairman, he reduced Rs.40/Kg in Ghee price on the very 1st day at his office. He holds the position of Vice-Chairman in 'The Gujarat State Co-operative Bank'. He is the General Secretary for Bharatiya Janta Party for Gujarat Pradesh.
He continued to be Member of the Legislative Assembly from Radhanpur Constituency from the year 1997 to till date. He was honored with UN’s International Social Harmony Award. This prestigious award was handed over to him by Governor of Gujarat. He won this award for his excellent conduction of educational activities in the most uneducated areas under his constituency. Allegations were made against him stating to have a fake Master of Business Administration degree, but he received a clean chit from the court.
