The famous Indian politician and cabinet minister Uma Bharti was born in the family of peasants. With the guidance of her first mentor, Vijaya Raje Scindia, she entered politics and her first affiliated party was Bhartiya Janta Party while she was still very young.
 
The young lady was occasionally addressed as Sadhvi by Hindu honorific. Sadhvi is a Sanskrit title respectfully given to a female. In 1984, she contested Lok Sabha elections for the very first time but unfortunately lost it.  While continuing with her rigour, she regained the seat in the elections of 1991, 1996 and 1998. She was the strong supporter of Ram Janmabhoomi movement and she was one among the prominent leaders who was responsible for the riots which further results in the destruction of Babri Masjid. The Supreme Court of India restores the charges of criminal conspiracy against Uma Bharti as well as other BJP leaders.
 
In 1999 Lok Sabha elections, she holds the position of a cabinet minister of the Vajpayee administration. She was appointed as 16th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on 08 December 2003 to 22 August 2004. She was forced to resign from the post of CM due to the issuance of an arrest warrant against her for 1994 Hubli riot. She also framed her own party after some issues with BJP and named her party as Bharatiya Janashakti Party also abbreviated as BJP. But she got reunited with BJP in 2011 and she was revived under the party in assembly elections in 2012 in Uttar Pradesh.
 
The lady did her schooling till the sixth standard. As a child, she was showing her interest in religious courses and describes herself as “religious missionary.”
