Vijay Bahuguna Complete Bio & Career

Bahuguna holds a bachelor degree in law which he acquired from the Allahabad University, Allahabad. After the completion of his graduation, he started his professional career as an advocate in the famous Allahabad High Court, and from there on rose to the ranks of a judge who served at the coveted Bombay High Court. In 1998, he finally decided to resign from his post of a judge in order to pursue a career in politics. 
 
Being the son of the decorated politician Late. Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, who was a well-known figure in the history of Indian politics apart from being a noted freedom fighter and was also the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, He represented India’s largest political front, Indian National Congress. Mr. Bahuguna won the 14th and 15th Lok Sabha elections from the Tehri Garhwal constituency of Uttarakhand from BJP’s ticket. In the history of India politics, he is the first Chief Minister who was also a former judge. Vijay Bahuguna’s sister, Rita Bahuguna, is also a leading politician. In his political career, he has held several prestigious posts.
