Zoramthanga was born on 13-07-1944 in Champhai in the state of Mizoram, India. He is an Indian Politician & current Chief Minister of Mizoram.

Zoramthanga Complete Bio & Career
Zoramthanga did his high school studies from Mizoram's schools. In addition, he did his graduation from D.M. of Manipur. In the year 1966, he took part in the Mizo freedom movement and even they were linked with this movement for a long time. In the subsequent time, Laldenga's ( who was the leader of this movement) having his party Mizo National Front won the Assembly elections held in 1987 and despite that, the party came to power in the state. After that, he became the finance and education minister of the state.
After Laldenga's death in 1990, he was appointed as the new president of this party. Despite, his party won again in the elections held in 1998 and he has had an opportunity to become the chief minister of the state for the very first time. In 2003, his part again won the assembly elections. But in the 2008 elections, his fate did not give him support and in spite that he lost at the two seats where he contested.
In the 2013 election, his party Mizo National Front was defeated with great numbers. But in 2018, elections held in Mizoram. The Mizo National Front has won again, after which it is going to have the clear way for Zoramthanga to become the Chief Minister of this state once again. On 15 Dec 2018, he assumed the office of CM, and he became the 5th CM of the state.
