Cori Gauff Complete Bio & Career

Cori Gauff is a young tennis player from America. She was previously junior tennis World no 1 having won Junior French Open singles title and US Open junior doubles title. She started playing junior tennis from the age of 13 and a couple of years later, she turned pro and started entering the main draws of major events. 
 
She turned pro in May 2018 and played her maiden tournament as a pro in a $25k tournament in Osprey. The same year, she was given a wild card entry into the US Open 2018. She however lost in the 1st round. In 2019, she qualified for the main draw at the Wimbledon. She thereby became the youngest women in the open era to qualify for the main draw at 15 years and 3 months old. She advanced till 4th round and showed the world what she is capable of. After Wimbledon got over, she advanced in rankings and reached a career high of 141st ranked player. She was again given a wild card entry at the US open 2019 where she advanced till 3rd round before finally losing to Naomi Osaka. 
 
Her on-court heroics have earned her a lot of endorsement deals as well. She was signed by New Balance for a long term deal and was also roped in by Italian Food Company named Barilla. Now she will be endorsing Barilla alongside tennis legend Roger Federer.
