Abhijeet Kelkar decided to become an actor from a very young age. To pursue his dream of becoming an actor, he started performing in Marathi plays. He acted in some of the most famous Marathi plays such as LUKACHUPI, and Ekda Pahave Na Karun among others. Finally he got his first big break after he was roped in the Marathi television series Char Divas Sasuche in the year 2001. Post that, he worked in famous Marathi shows such as Madhu Ithe Ani Chandra Tithe and Tuza Maza Jamena among others.
He made his silver screen debut through the Marathi film titled Me ShivajiRaje Bhosale Boltoy in the year 2009. After that, he wsa seen in Marathi films such as Kaksparsh, and Teecha Baap Tyacha Baap among others. He garnered a lot of attention during his time in Bigg Boss Marathi house in 2019.
