Afsana was born and grown up in Punjab. She did her schooling from Govt. Senior Secondary School, Badal, Punjab. She had a passion of singing from school days. She belons to a middle class family. She had to suffer a lot for living since childhood. Her father was died at very young age. Her mother used to feed the children by bringing food from local Gurudwara. She had to struggle a lot during the starting days of her career. She also used to perfom as course singer at the beginning.
In 2012 she made her singing debut with the Punjabi singing reality show ''Voice Of Punjab 3''. She impressed the Judges and audience of the show with her voice. She made her place among the top-5 contestants of the show but couldn't win the show. Then, she again participated in reality show ''Rising star'' the following year. She beame famous with the popular song ''Jatta Sareaam Tu ta Dhakka Kardae''. Her other famous songs are Bazaar, Jaani Ve Jaani, Jodaa, Titliaan, Badmashi, Tere Laare, Unf*ckwithable, Jine Dukh, Tera Pyaar.
In 2021, she participted in controversial reality show ''Bigg Boss''. She is performing brilliantly at the show. We wish her luck for Future.
