Arun Vijay Complete Bio & Career
Arun Vijay used to accompany his father during his film shoots and that is how, he developed an interest in acting from a very young age. He got noticed on the sets and recieved various film offers while he was in school. His father was adamant that he should complete his schooling first and only then should try his luck in films.
He finally made his acting debut through the Tamil film titled Murai Mappillai in the year 1995. He was just 18 years old when he made his film debut. This made him one of the youngest actors in Tamil flm industry to debut as a lead actor. In his next film Priyam, he showed his dancing skills and this films song Dilruba Dilruba became one of the biggest hit song of Tamil cinema in those days. He was cast alongside his father in the superhit Tamil film Pandavar Bhoomi in the year 2001. Post that, he had his share of failure for successive years. His films such as Mutham, Jananam, and Thavam failed at the box-office.
He finally started delivering hits and it started with the film titled Malai Malai in the year 2009. He never looked back since then and has delivered hits after hits with films such as Maanja Velu, and Yennai Arindhaal among others. He has also worked in Telugu and Tamil films as well. He was also a part of blockbuster tri-lingual film Saaho as well. He will be next seen in Tamil films such as Boxer, Mafia: Chapter 1, and Agni Siragugal among others. In addition to acting, he has also started his own production company named Cinemas Entertainment (ICE) in the year 2015. He has released the Tamil film Kuttram 23 under his production banner in 2017.
