Greg Hardy Complete Bio & Career

Greg Hardy was born and raised in Millington, Tennessee. He started his career as an American Football player and started his career with Carolina Panthers and played for them from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, panther's didn't renew his contract despite request from Panther's coaches and players. He though signed a whopping $11.3 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys in March 2015. In that season for violations, he was suspended for 10 games which was then revoked to 4 games. He was considered as a bad influence for the youngsters and hence was not resigned by Cowboys for the next season. In 2017, he participated in The Spring League. In 2018, he got inked by APF team Richmond Roughriders. In his 8 years propfessional career, he played 75 games before finally retiring from his football career.
 
In 2016, he decided to pursue a career as an MMA fighter and after a year long training, he played his first match on 02-12-2017 and defeated Joe Hawkins in just 32 secnds. In 2018 after winning a series of matches was offered a professional contract by UFC. In 2019, he participated in Ultimate Fighting Championship and won most of the bouts that he played. In May 2020 after his first bout after Covid-19 breakout, he defeated Yorgan
De Castro in 2 rounds.
 
In his career, he has been charged for various indisciplinary acts and was also arrested for posession of cocaine in 2016. He was often referred as a bad influencere of the sports and hence found it difficult to earn himself an NFL contract as major teams avoided buying him. He could have gone places but his off-fields acts have cut short his career which could have been a glorious one. His secong inning as a professional MMA fighter is going great and hopefully, he will earn a niche for himself in the sport in years to come.
