K. T. Rama Rao Complete Bio & Career

KT Rama Rao is the son of Telangana first CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. He elected as the Members of the Legislative Assembly in 2009 from Cyrilla constituency. He is currently holding the Information Technology (IT), Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Textiles and NRI affairs minister. In 2008 he was elected as the state general secretary in Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He completed his schooling in Hyderabad. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Botany microbiology from the University of Osmania. He got MSC degree in Bio-Technology from Pune University and MBA in Marketing and E-commerce from New York University, USA.
 
After completing his studies he started working as an IT professional. In the year 2006, he resigned from his work to join Telangana Rashtra Samiti and in the same year started campaigning for his father, who contested for the election of Karimnagar Lok Sabha by-election. Although he started his political career in the year 2009 when he contested the elections in the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections from the Sirkila assembly constituency. 
 
In the 2014 general elections, he tried to defend his seat from the constituency of Sirkila and he became a cabinet minister in the first Telangana Govt. Forthwith after becoming an IT minister and assuming office, he brought an energetic plan to grow the IT industry and he aimed to almost double the IT exports from the Telangana state. He took several actions in this respect that comprises of forming business-friendly as well as proactive industrial plans. 
 
His main motive to develop the developing entrepreneurship through the creation of T Hub. He created a T-hub in the state, which considered as the country’s largest incubator spot for start-ups. It generates skilful workers by TASK (Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge) and also providing the quality education as well as coaching to known groups. For his great efforts, he was awarded by the inspirational icon by and Ritz Magazine and CNN-IBN in the year 2015.
