Being an encounter specialist, Pradeep has been the serving as the police don in Mumbai for over years. A Loyal and Encounter specialist Pradeep was involved with Mumbai Encounter Squad.

As Pradeep Sharma’s daredevil skills are meant to be from a state of Uttar Pradesh where we have many fearless and strong officers from. He belonged to Agra and had completed his schooling and college from Dhule, Maharashtra. He did his MSc and then joined the State Police Service beginning with the post of sub inspector in late 1983s. Mumbai became his home after his first joining. In his initial days, he was posted to Mahim in Mumbai and only later when he was moved to the Juhu region. His father was not involved with the police services but was an English professor in Dhule.

He would have never imagined being a part of the Mumbai Police Squad and having spent 25 years with the team. He was a core member of the Mumbai Encounter Squad, serving as one of the most proficient officers in the killing of almost 312 criminals that not only included the local criminals in some case but also the terrorists that were majorly shot down by this fierce officer. No one has forgotten the big terrorist attack on Mumbai by the alleged terrorist group Lashkar-e-Toiba when he was among the crucial members of the team to have encountered terrorists and made them rest in peace forever.

In spite of such a gracious account in the Mumbai police, he was still held up for his involvement with the criminals and dismissed from the Mumbai Police Office in the year 2008. They had traced few conversations that happened on phone and had held him for his connections even with Dawood Ibrahim. Later on, he was scot-free from the charges and he allegedly pointed towards Chota Rajan for framing him all the case. He also has been shot in a film’s character played by Mahesh Manjerkar called “Rege”.
