Shounak Abhisheki, a very talented singer and composer. He completed his elementary schooling in Mangeshi, Goa. He was interested in music since his childhood. He gave his precious contribution to Classical, Semi-Classical, Devotional and Natya Sangeet. His father Pt. Jitender Abhisheki is a talented vocalist who joins Jaipur and Agra styles of classical music.
He has performed many special programs like Tulsi k Raam, Abhang, and Swarabhishek. In addition to this, he has also performed in Thailand, Persian Gulf, Soviet Union, United States and the United Kingdom.
He also got many Indian origin awards like Symbiosis University Cultural Award, ZEE Gaurav Puruskaar, Pune Ki Aasha Puraskaar, Saraswatibai Rane Puruskar, N.C.P.A. Excellence Award, and much more. With Indian awards he also got international awards by French Government named Love da Musique award. Smt. Kamaltai Tambe who belonged to Jaipur Gharana trained Shounak Abhisheki on his own and made him a great vocalist and musician.
He followed the footsteps of his father and became one of the respected people in the music industry. His father also helped him in his music. He had his family relations with many great singers in the music industry. Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle were his Aunts.
