Thom Brennaman Complete Bio & Career
Thom completed his graduation from Cincinnati's Anderson High School. Afterward, he attended Ohio University as the president of the Beta Kappa chapter of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Following his father's footsteps, he becomes a broadcaster. He joined the radio station ‘Wath’ during his term at the Ohio University.
In 1986, he started his career as a sports anchor WLWT-TV in Cincinnati. Also, he worked as a play-by-play announcer along with Hall of Famer Johnny Bench in major leagues. He was hired by the FOX Sports to cover the Major League Baseball and National Football League.
In 2006, Fox announced him lead paly-by-play announcer for the Bowl Championship Series. In addition to this, he also covered the 2008 Sugar Bowl and the 2009 Orange Bowl. He was the lead play-by-play announcer for college football games of the Big Ten Network.
