Ananya Birla Complete Bio & Career

Ananya Birla was born to one of the richest families in India. During her school days, she played chess and even won the school level tournaments. She thought left her passion for chess behind and enrolled at the decorated Oxford University in the UK from where she obtained her post graduate degree in economics and management.
 
She developed an interest in music from a very young age and learned to play the guitar and santoor. While in University, she started performing at clubs and pubs. She is just 23 but has donned heavy hats like Musician, Popstar, and Entrepreneur!.  She formed her own micro finance company named Svantantra Microfinance at the young age of 17. The main aim to form this company was to empower women in underprivileged rural areas of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
 
Following her passion for music, she released her first single titled ‘Livin the life’ in a high profile glamorous event in Mumbai in the year 2016. Besides singing, she also wrote and composed the song. The event was attended by Bollywood celebs like Sooraj Pancholi, Sohail Khan, and Hrithik Roshan among others. Her single was a fusion of pop and electro which was mixed by renowned Dutch J named Afrojack. The song though received some negative reviews as well but at the end of the day was declared hit with over 4 million views in the first week of its release on YouTube. Her next single Meant To Be was released in July 2017 and has become a sensation.
