Devendra Jhajharia was born on 10-06-1981 in Churu in the state of Rajasthan, India. He is an Indian Paralympian, Athlete & Javelin Thrower who is the first Indian Paralympian to win two gold medals at the Paralympic games. He has won two gold medals (first in 2004, second in 2016) and one silver medal (in 2021 at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo).

Devendra is an Indian athlete and a perfect player in the javelin throw. He was born on 10 June 1981 in Rajgarh, Churu District, Rajasthan. He is born to Ram Singh and Jivani Devi. He has done his schooling from Government High School, Ratnapura, Churu, Rajasthan. he did graduation in Batchelor's of arts from a college education at NMPG College, Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.

He did his international debut at the Para Asian Games and won a gold medal in 2002. Then in Summer Paralympics in Athens, he won a gold medal in Javelin in the year 2004. The athlete was also awarded the Arjuna award by the government of India in the same year. He is one of the famous Indian Paralympic javelin throwers competing in F46 events.

In 2012, the player is also awarded the Padma Shree award by the Government of India. The man also received gold at RIO Paralympics in 2016. He becomes a famous Indian athlete who represented India at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. He is one of the best players and won his third silver medal at the Summer Paralympics in Tokyo2020.
