Uday Chopra is the son of the legendary director and producer of Indian cinema Yash Chopra, And he made his debut in Bollywood as an assistant director from the film Lamhe in 1991. Then after he remained on the post for the few upcoming films such as Parampara, Darr, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Dil To Pagal Hai. All these films were super-duper hit films and also were the gainer's films at the box office. In 1994, he made his debut as a producer for the film Yeh Dillagi starring Saif Ali Khan, Kajol and Akshay Kumar under the banner of Yash Raj Films. This film was a successful film in terms of commercially as well as critics. As a producer, he produced some Hindi films such as Mujhse Dosti Karoge!,Pyaar Impossible, Grace of Monaco and The Longest Week. Some of the films could make good business and some remained the avg films at the box office.
In 2000, he turned towards acting and he made his debut from the film Mohabbatein as Vikram Kapoor. For that film, she won the nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. And after this film, he appeared in some film as a supporting actor, and also a guest appearance such as Kal Ho Naa Ho, Charas: A Joint Operation, Dhoom, Neal 'n' Nikki, Dhoom 2 and Dhoom 3. He founded his own production house, Yomics, which created the comics for the Yash Raj Films such as Dhoom, Ek Tha Tiger. and Hum Tum.
